Give Me Your Skin: Scratch at the BAC

What if gender was a game and we could change the rules? In a world where conventional masculinity oppresses both men and women, can we find a way to rewrite the rules before it's game over?

Queer performance makers Tom Ross-Williams and Oonagh Murphy take you on a journey of nature and nurture as they explore the the landscape of violence, intimacy and gender norms. Not just another critique of gender inequality, Give Me Your Skin offers an opportunity for the audience to actively break down stereotypes, moving out of the realm of discourse and into the mode of action.

Give Me Your Skin is supported by Battersea Arts Centre, Mermaid Arts Centre (Ireland), Bike Shed Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East. Xavier de Sousa produces.

Performances 7pm Thurs 14 - Saturday 16th of July
